EUNITE! EU Citizens Unite and Promote the European Project
Final events in Kortrijk and Bruxelles (Belgium)
The recent 2024 European elections were an important experience of participatory democracy which involved millions of European citizens. EUNITE! through all the events organized in 2023 and 2024 in Italy, France, Greece, Croatia and Belgium, has prepared hundreds of citizens for the elections, through a series of training and cultural events on different topics: the EU institutions and its roles, disinformation and mass-media, sharing of ideas and experiences, design of policy proposals and debates with policy makers.
Now EUNITE! concludes its journey with two final events in Belgium, in Kortrijk and Brussels on 1 and 2 October 2024. The events will involve around 150 participants from the partner countries. The events include a workshop in Kortrijk and a final conference in Brussels during which citizens will share ideas and good practices, the results achieved by EUNITE that will be shared with a wide audience, and attention will be paid to the role of participatory democracy and European citizenship.
